The worship orchestra provides music to aid in worship during the Sunday morning worship service. You do not need to be a professional musician to be a part of the orchestra. The music, provided by Brad Smith of CCPC, is at a fairly easy level. The music is available to download for those wanting to practice ahead of time, as we only have a brief rehearsal on Sunday mornings. The orchestra meets at the front of the church on Sunday mornings at 9:10 AM. Please contact Bill Glenister if you wish to become a part of the orchestra. It is important that we know what instruments to expect, in order to have sheet music available.
The adult choir provides music during the offertory of the Sunday morning worship service. The adult choir meets in the sanctuary loft at 8:40 AM each Sunday morning. We usually sing anthems twice each month. Those aged 12 and up who want to sing praise to the Lord are welcome. We, as always, would be extra thankful for any tenors and basses who would like to try the choir. Contact Bill Glenister if you have any questions.
Children's Choir also provides music during the offertory of the Sunday morning worship service. If you love to sing, if you like to make new friends, if you love Jesus - you should join Children's Choir (only one of these options need be true, the rest will just naturally become true!). You need not read music, but you do need to be able to read words. Ages 7-12 are welcome (if you are younger than that, but can read, please speak to me). We sing during the morning service about once a month.
