Brad Evans faithfully served as pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Coventry for nearly 38 years. He preached his first sermon as Pastor at PCC on Easter Sunday 1980.
Prior to PCC, Brad served as Assistant Pastor at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Willow Grove, PA.
Brad was born in Grove City, PA and grew up in Erie, PA. His undergraduate degree is in speech communication from Pennsylvania State University where he met his wife of 40 years Patsy (Wheatley) Evans.
Brad earned a Masters of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Covenant Seminary. He has served as moderator of both the Northeast and Southern New England Presbyteries (PCA). Brad participated in a pulpit exchange in Scotland in 1995 and has trained pastors and laymen in Manipur India. Brad and Patsy have two grown children: Rev. Brent Evans, and Megan Hill who serves with her husband Rev. Rob Hill.
Dr. Evans retired from PCC January 2018.
